Analog Mode exists to make phones quieter, not to watch anyone. This page lists every piece of data the service touches. It’s short because the list is short.

What we store

Your Apple account identifier. You sign in with Sign in with Apple; Apple gives us an anonymous account ID and, if you share it, your first name. We never see your password, and if you use Hide My Email we never see your real email either.
Your child’s first name — or whatever nickname you choose for them — only so the buttons in your app have labels.
A device credential and push token for each paired child phone, so lock and unlock signals reach the right device.
The lock state of each child’s phone — locked or unlocked, when the command was issued, and when the phone confirmed it.

What we never collect

We never collect what your child does on their phone. No messages, no browsing history, no app usage, no location, no screen recordings — ever. Enforcement happens on the phone itself through Apple’s Family Controls. No PIN material either: the parent PIN that guards the child app’s settings is stored only on the child’s phone, never on our servers.

What the child’s phone reports about itself

So we can tell you when setup is incomplete or something is blocking us, the app sends: which setup steps are done, whether notifications are on, whether the lock applied, how many apps you’ve allowed, and whether it can reach our servers. It never sends which apps you chose — Apple gives us anonymous tokens, not names, so we couldn’t tell you even if you asked.

Reports you send us

“Report a problem” sends a snapshot of the screen you are on and the same technical details, only when you tap it, and shows you exactly what is included first.

Crash reports

If an app crashes, or our server hits an error, we receive a technical report through Sentry: the stack trace, the app version, the iOS version and the device model. No names, no app lists, no screenshots, no personal data.

Your parent app

We count locks and unlocks on your own account, on our own servers, to see whether the product is working. No third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers, no trackers. This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties.

Where it lives and who sees it

Data is stored on servers we operate ourselves and is used only to deliver the service. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers or data brokers, and never used to train anything. The only third parties involved are Apple (Sign in with Apple, and push notifications that carry no message content beyond the lock signal), Cloudflare, which routes encrypted traffic to our server, and Sentry, which receives technical error reports from our server.

Deletion

Removing a child from your app deletes that child’s pairing records and lock history. To delete your entire account and everything attached to it, email [email protected] from the account you signed up with and we’ll confirm within a few days.
